Carolyn has a hard time containing her excitement and enthusiasm about any project in which she is involved and says that patience is her shortcoming...she is continually  working on it.

She plans on visiting the moon in 2012, learning New Testament Greek when she is 80, and will hike the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Appalachian Trail one day.

...adventurous, energetic and ambitious is the best description of Carolyn. She enjoys life, the outdoors, traveling, photography and making movies. Carolyn began recording life on video when she got her hands on her first camcorder.

...owned a pig farm in Tennessee, built one of the first underground houses there, was a licensed wastewater operator...studied Lions in Kenya, taught Bible school on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, traveled and camped extensively in the US on the “blue roads” and currently lives on top of a mountain at Lake Tahoe

...two people in literature that shaped her life; Richard Halliburton and Scarlet O’Hara.  Halliburton gave her the desire to travel and Scarlet let her know that there was nothing that she could not do, nothing that she could not have and no obstacle that could not be overcome.  Scarlet also taught her that if she could not deal with it today, then “Fiddle Dee Dee”, think about it tomorrow.

In a nutshell, Carolyn cannot think of anything she does not like.

March 2007, received 2006 Business Woman of the Year Award and dinner with the President, elected official for the Kingsbury General Improvement District, General Manger for ski village in Lake Tahoe.
